Welcome to the Blackhawk Youth Hockey Association!

The goal of the Blackhawk Youth Hockey Association is to develop skilled hockey players, to stress good sportsmanship and fair play, and to teach each participant to accept both victory and defeat in a gracious manner. 

MN Hockey Magazine Clinic(FREE but must attend all 3 days)

Session 1: Squirts, U10, 1st Year Pee Wee, 1st Year U12 

       Saturday October 2:   11:00am - 12:30pm

       Sunday October 3:        3:20pm - 4:50pm

       Monday October 4:      5:30pm - 7:00pm

Session 2:  2nd Year Pee Wee Players, 2nd Year U12, U14 and Bantams

       Saturday October 2:     1:00pm - 2:30pm

       Sunday October 3:          5:00pm - 6:30pm

       Monday October 4:        7:15pm - 8:45pm

Open Skate - CANCELLED FOR 2020-21 SEASON

Regretfully, United Civic Center will not be open for public open skate during the 2020-21 winter season.

Local resident and former Baldwin/Woodville High School assistant hockey coach Scott Tiffany has created and recently launched the all new MinnesotaHockeyMagazinecom.  The site has training tips from Phil Housley, who recently was the Head Coach for the US World Junior Team that won the Gold Medal, along with many other former NHL stars and a slew of great writers and content providers.

The site also has columns written by David Tanabe and Ryan Walters, both former NHL first round draftees, along with NHL coaches and National team coaches as well as current professional players.  For more information on who is involved or how to contact Scott, please visit and check out the "Our Team" section.
