Blackhawk Hockey apparel

Below, please find a link for online ordering of Blackhawk Hockey apparel.  The online store will only be open until November 6th, which allows for orders to be ready for Christmas - so place your orders by then.  We are trying to get clothing sample sizes at the rink, so watch for those there.

We will continue to have limited t-shirt and sweatshirt inventory at the rink, but this is one of the best bets for getting unique apparel choices.

You will be notified once your order is available for pick-up at St. Croix Sports in Hudson.

Arrow Effect Custom Socks

Some of you may have been seeing individuals sporting some very cool custom socks around the rink.  Arrow Effect makes high quality and custom dri fit socks that you can wear to show off your team loyalty.  Designs available for all Blackhawk, Blackcat and Fusion teams.

We will be pacing a group order in the next couple of week for those that would like to order Christmas gifts, or just for themselves.  Please review the attached order form, complete and turn in, with payment, to your team manager or into my mailbox (Secretary) in concessions at the rink no later than Monday, November 14th.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support Blackhawk Hockey.  See the attached order form for more information and direct questions as indicated on the form.

Learn to Skate (LTS)

Learn to Skate (LTS) is an 8 week program, 2 days per week.  Starting the 2nd week of October through the 3rd week of December.  Free for NEW skaters 8 – under, with the option to join the Learn to Play Hockey after the 1st of the year for $25.  Equipment will be provided.

    Check out Minnesota Hockey Magazine

Local resident and former Baldwin/Woodville High School assistant hockey coach Scott Tiffany has created and recently launched the all new MinnesotaHockeyMagazinecom.  The site has training tips from Phil Housley, who recently was the Head Coach for the US World Junior Team that won the Gold Medal, along with many other former NHL stars and a slew of great writers and content providers.

The site also has columns written by David Tanabe and Ryan Walters, both former NHL first round draftees, along with NHL coaches and National team coaches as well as current professional players.  For more information on who is involved or how to contact Scott, please visit and check out the "Our Team" section.
